OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ANY DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED SOLELY BY BINDING ARBITRATION AND ENTRANTS WAIVE THE ABILITY TO BRING CLAIMS IN A CLASS ACTION FORMAT. THIS PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  1. PROMOTION PERIOD:

    • Tin Can’s World Soccer Hotline Contest (the “Promotion”) begins on June 20th, 2026 at 6am Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on June 24th, 2026 at 11:59pm PT (or whenever all prizes have been awarded, whichever is sooner) (the “Promotion Period”).
    • Entry in the Promotion does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest, or giveaway.

  2. SPONSOR:

  • Tin Can Untechnologies, Inc. 300 Lenora Street PMB 820 Seattle, WA 98121.
  • This Promotion is in no way sponsored or endorsed by any other entity, including but not limited to Instagram.
  1. ELIGIBILITY:
    • Open to individuals who
      • are age 18 or older (or the relevant age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older) at the time of entry,
      • have a valid Instagram account, and
      • reside in the United States or Canada.
  • Officers, directors, and employees of Sponsor and its related entities are NOT eligible to enter.
  1. PARENT/GUARDIAN AUTHORIZATION:
  • By submitting an Entry featuring your child, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the legal parent or court-appointed guardian of each minor depicted in your Entry ("Minor Participant") and have full authority to submit this entry and grant the rights herein; (b) you grant Sponsor a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the entry and each Minor Participant's name, image, likeness, and voice for advertising, promotional, and commercial purposes in any media; and (c) all information submitted in your Entry is accurate and complete. Entries submitted by anyone other than a Minor Participant's legal parent or guardian will be disqualified.
  1. HOW TO ENTER:
  • Follow @tincan.kids on Instagram.
    • Send your Entry via DM to @tincan.kids, tag @tincan.kids in a video submission post and include the #CanCasterContest in the captions, or email it as an attachment to WorldSoccerHotline@tincan.kids. To be valid, your Entry MUST include:
      • Audition video: a 60-second or less video clip featuring your child commenting on a soccer game in their best sportscaster voice
      • Parental consent: DM or email an accompanying message written by you that states “I am the legal parent/guardian of [insert your child's name], I have read the Official Rules, and I consent to Tin Can’s use of this video and my child's name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes as described therein.” You may also choose to say this on-camera at the start of the video. Videos that do not include this consent are NOT valid.
    • Your Entry must comply with all Instagram guidelines and policies.
  1. AGREEMENT TO RULES:
  • By participating in the Promotion, you unconditionally accept and agree to comply with these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

  1. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION:

    • Tin Can will appoint a Judging Panel that will review all eligible Entries using the following Judging Criteria: originality, content, performance, and personality. Tin Can will select up to 8 potential winning Entries.
    • Potential winners will be notified via Instagram Direct Message or email and required to claim their prize within 6 days.
    • Tin Can’s decisions are final and binding. Winning will depend solely on the Entrant’s skill in satisfying the Judging Criteria. Tin Can will not reveal the judging scores for any entry, and all scoring is at the sole determination of the Judging Panel.

  2. PRIZES:

    • Each winner will receive a prize package consisting of an opportunity to feature their child as a World Cup Kidcaster, 11 Tin Cans, 1 hat, 1 t-shirt, and $150 towards a pizza party (total est. ARV: $2,400 USD)
    • If selected as a winner, you (on behalf of yourself and Minor Participant) will be required to execute a separate content production and release agreement as a condition of receiving the prize. Failure to execute within 6 days of notification will result in forfeiture and an alternate winner may be selected.
    • Approximate retail value (ARV) of each prize: $2,400 USD.
    • Prize winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and/or local taxes and any other fees or costs associated with the applicable prize.

  3. PUBLICITY:

  • By participating in the Promotion, you grant Sponsor a transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license and right to use, re-use, publish, and re-publish your Entry in whole or in part, in any media, for the purposes of advertising, publicity and trade, to promote Sponsor, its products and services, and the Promotion.
  • The above license includes the right to use your social media handle and your Minor Participant’s name, image, likeness, performance, voice, and likeness in connection with your Entry and the Promotion.
  1. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:
  • Limit one (1) entry per eligible Entrant’s Minor Participant (ie, only one entry per child, regardless of how many parent social media accounts they have; but eligible parents/guardians may submit more than one entry, provided each entry is related to a different child)
  • Entries must be made during the Promotion Period.
  • In the event of a conflict between these Official Rules and any other communications related to the Promotion, these Official Rules shall prevail.
  • No cash alternative or substitution of prizes will be allowed.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to modify any dates or deadlines.
  1. PRIVACY:
  • Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
  • Any communication of information transmitted to Sponsor by e-mail or otherwise is and will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary.
  • Sponsor is collecting Minor Participant-related personal information (including Minor Participant name, image, likeness, and voice) solely to administer the Contest and for the promotional purposes described herein. Entries containing unsolicited child-related personal information beyond what is required above will be disqualified and deleted. To request deletion of submitted information, contact legal@tincan.kids.
  1. GENERAL LIABILITY RELEASE/FORCE MAJEURE:
  • By entering, you release Sponsor and Instagram from liability for any and all losses or injuries incurred from Promotion participation or prize usage.
  • No warranties are made regarding the prizes; all are provided "as is."
  • Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures or entry issues, including but not limited to computer or network malfunctions.
  • Sponsor may disqualify entrants disrupting the Promotion or violating rules, and may seek legal remedies for such actions.
  • In case of events beyond Sponsor's control, the Promotion may be modified, suspended, or terminated at Sponsor's discretion.

  1. GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION:

    • ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF ANY DISPUTES HEREUNDER, BY ENTERING THIS PROMOTION, EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THIS PROMOTION SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION AND CONSENTS TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF THE APPROPRIATE STATE OR FEDERAL COURT SITUATED IN SEATTLE, WASHINGTON.
